When God will answer your prayers?

16 Sep

Are you anxious about when God will answer your prayers? Have you ask yourself if God hears you? Did you ask yourself already if God really exist?

prayer

I am so excited to tell you what I’ve learned to today in 1 Samuel 1:10-11
10 In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. 11 And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

Insights:
Hannah, have been going back to the temple for many years to pray to God to grant her a child. She’s barren and no one can help her. Her only hope is a miracle that she believe only God can do. I believe she’s too tired of praying, hoping and trusting in God to answer her prayer for many years. Do you see yourself in her situation? Lets find out what happen in 1 Samuel 1:19-20.

19 Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel,[b] saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”
Insights:
Indeed God is alive! He heard Hannah’s sincere prayer and the way Hannah honored Him in the blessing that she will receive. Most of all she indeed give to God what she had promised.

Dear friends, God can hear you! In the life of Hannah, we learned that God will grant your deepest prayer if you have the correct motive which is to honor and please Him. How? We will dedicate all our request to Him. Why? Do you know that you are created for one purpose only? That is to love and live for Him alone says in Deuteronomy 6:5 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Therefore, if you give everything to God, He will honor you as well by granting your hearts desires if it is His will.
